To launch a program, Windows Vista has an enhanced start menu.  Windows XP has a bunch of menus to click through.  If you want something more, there are loads of very fancy program launchers, FREEWARE and other out there.  However nothing like DeskBug.  This friendly little bug is efficient simplicity, no frills, no bloat no cost. Files, programs, links, multiple links - run them all.

DeskBug is a selectable, mouse moveable graphic with a pop-up menu attached.  The graphic can be as small as a few pixels or as large as you can stand!  It can be made so non-intrusive that it can put anywhere on the screen but still be just a click away! 

Double-clicking the graphic will open the support window where you can pick your own graphic and select your menu items. You can also drop files, links, shortcuts etc onto the graphic or the support window.  Right click on the graphic to open the menu. Adding items.

DeskBug is not designed to replace existing Windows menus or hold all the links and files on your system!  It's for those often used items that you need at your finger tips, a couple of clicks away. However you can run as many DeskBugs as you want, perhaps using each for separate files or link types.  And of course you can always add DeskBug links to a main DeskBug as additional links - creating a whole nest of DeskBugs you can call up whenever necessary!
